In efforts to honor the legendary African-American people born and raised in the St. Louis area, students from the Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club created a concept for a new mural outside the building in 2011. With the help of artist, Grace McCommond they were able to paint a 30' tall mural. This work of art is known as, "The Wall of Fame."
